Reducing Heat Loss in The Home

When looking at making your home greener and saving energy, making sure your home is as well insulated as possible and reducing its heat loss should be the very first step.

Every household should ensure that their roof is insulated as much as possible, and that drafts from windows, doors, extractors, and chimneys are minimised.  Whilst for some homes floor and wall insulation is less practical, if it is possible do that too.  The better insulated the house, the greener it is, the cheaper its heating bills, and the more comfortable it will be.
