The Helicoil is a new and advanced alternative to borehole probes and horizontal collectors for Ground Source Heat Pumps, that enables a ground source heat pump system to be installed at a much lower cost and in a much smaller space.

Helicoil energy collectors are the ideal solution when borehole installations are not cost-effective and there is not enough space for horizontal collectors. They can easily be used for new build projects but also for refurbishments.

The Helicoil system ism made up of multiple 3m deep coils set in a more compact area than a ground loop. Each collector can extract up to 800 watts of thermal energy (typically 450W on average). For most domestic projects, 9-18 Helicoil collectors would be required.
